The Masked Singer fans on Reddit recently began speculating that panelists Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger might not be returning for Season 9. This is due to the network’s website leaving them out of the “Meet the Hosts and Panelists” page.
Is the Masked Singer Panel Changing in Season 9?
On Tuesday, a Reddit user posted a screenshot of the FOX website, which only lists host Nick Cannon and panelists Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke under “Meet the Hosts and Panelists.” The poster wondered where McCarthy and Scherzinger were.
One fan wondered if the two panelists aren’t returning for the new season. Another commenter suggested that the show might be waiting to introduce new panelists as a surprise. Others gave their opinions about the two possibly leaving, with more than one person saying they wouldn’t mind seeing McCarthy go.
Another user pointed out that Jeong seems to be the only panelist who has posted about the new season (premiering February 15) on social media. They also claimed that the other three panelists “were unfollowed then re-followed” by the show.

Could Two of the Panelists Be Leaving?
Another Reddit commenter pointed out that both McCarthy and Scherzinger are featured in a new preview The Masked Singer shared to promote the upcoming season. Both of their voices can be heard, and McCarthy is shown at the end of the clip.
According to the website On Camera Audiences, filming for Season 9 of the show begins on Monday, January 23. The site doesn’t specify which panelists will be present at the tapings, which include themed episodes such as ABBA Night, New York Night, and Superhero Night.
Hopefully, with filming about to start, the show will soon confirm that all four panelists are returning. The show’s panel has remained the same since the very first season, which premiered in 2019.
