Birdman, real name Bryan Christopher Williams, was born 15 February 1969 in Louisiana, US. When he was five years, he lost his mother, Gladys. He had rough childhood days and grew up with his brother, Ronald Williams in the crime-ridden Magnolia Projects located in New Orleans. He got involved in robberies and started selling drugs before getting arrested when he was 16. Later on, he again went to prison at the age of 18 for drug possession and was sentenced to three years in Elayn Hunt Correctional Center where he served the sentence for 18 months before being released of all the charges.
