America’s Got Talent Season 12 runner-up Angelica Hale recently took to Instagram to share that her TikTok account had been banned and presumably deleted. Because of this, the singer created a new account under the same username, and she’s encouraging fans to follow her.

Angelica Hale Creates New TikTok Account After Ban

On Instagram stories, Angelica explained that her TikTok account @iamangelicahale “got banned recently for being ‘underage.'” She added that she was “currently unable to login, recover my account in any way shape or form.”

Angelica also shared that her username had become available, so she assumed that the account was deleted. She explained that she appealed the ban three times, and she’s unable to get into contact with TikTok Support.

The singer shared her belief that “the best course of action is to simply create a new account with my previous username.” The new account is under the same name, @iamangelicahale.

According to TikTok, accounts can be banned for being underage if the site believes the user is under 13 years old. (Angelica is 15 years old.) The site explains that U.S. users have 23 days to submit an appeal and download their data. After 30 days without an appeal or with an unsuccessful appeal, the account will be deleted.

The Singer Asked Fans to Follow Her New Account

Angelica told fans that she “would greatly appreciate it” if they could follow her new account. She explained that her previous account “was really growing and I don’t want to hinder that by starting anew.”

She told fans, “if you were previously following me, please consider following again!” As of this writing, the new account has 60 followers. Angelica has uploading one video so far, from her recent video with vocal coach Cheryl Porter.

Angelica currently has over a million followers on Instagram, so hopefully she can build her TikTok following back up. The singer also has a YouTube account with over 3 million subscribers.
