Amanda Holden’s recent bikini photo received some negative attention from controversial social media personality Andrew Tate, who shamed the Britain’s Got Talent judge for showing off her body as a mom. Holden’s fans were quick to defend her.
Andrew Tate Mom-Shames Amanda Holden on Twitter
On Sunday, Holden shared a photo to Twitter in which she can be seen standing under an outdoor shower while sporting a black bikini. She captioned the post simply, “Good morning,” with a sun emoji.
Tate, who is currently under house arrest as he faces charges of human trafficking, responded to the post by writing, “You are a wife and a mother and youre [sic] far past a teenager. There is no need for this post.”
Fans were quick to defend Holden, with some pointing out the hypocrisy of Tate’s comment, as he himself frequently posts revealing photos. As one user wrote to him, “you’re a father and over 30 and still post pics [of] yourself shirtless.”
Holden herself has not responded. However, the photo is still up on both Twitter and Instagram. Some fans took to the other platform to share their support for Holden.

Tate isn’t the first person to shame Holden for showing skin. Some of her outfits on Britain’s Got Talent have actually inspired complaints from viewers for being too revealing.
In 2020, a dress with a plunging neckline sparked over 235 complaints to Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator. Back in 2017, another dress inspired over 600 complaints. Some have viewed Holden’s style as inappropriate for a family show.
However, Holden has said that all of her outfits are approved before she appears on TV. She joked that there’s “a t*t committee” who “come and stare at my chest before we go on air.”
